@Domanese yeah, from what i read they kept true to the D&D realm when making this. So that’s really cool. This is a amazing DVD and wish they’d make more.

@BiffsGamingVideos And what’s also distinguishable about the “official” movies, is that it uses in game canon, the Greyhawk campaign and it mentions two gods. Also you can identify the spells and in ways you can tell how this would have played out via the traditional 3.0/3.5 rules. Nothing is out of the blue, and can appease those not familiar with the material without shunning those who would know the D&D game front to back. Either way this is good fun. And I wish they make more like this.

@Domanese Well, I did see D&D 1 at the theatre and D&D 2 which was a DVD only release and they both sucked. Too bad cause they have the name. With hollywood gooing nutz over superhero movies you’d think they would put the same into D&D. At least the 2 Conan movies were very good.

Holy crap. Someone other then me actually has this DVD? Sweet, My opinion its vastly underrated and is WAY better then the official movie we got from the box office. Honestly Im amazed they haven’t done more but hey there’s always hoping. Interested in seeing what your take on this is.

@HunterTiger2100 Now if I could just get a cut for selling the game for them….

@ BiffsGamingVideos choices! Choices! Choices! I felt as if I had loved the game already although I have not played it before. What you presented looked beautiful.

@alienwarelaptop100 It’s an interactive movie. You choose a path and a scene happens. Scenes might last 3 minutes or so. You can do a search on wikipedia or somewhere and they should explain a lot more. it’s really cool.

@BiffsGamingVideos Is there any gameplay there? Is it like Heavy Rain?

  9. BiffsGamingVideos August 22, 2010 6:55 am

@alienwarelaptop100 Anywhere that sells DVDs. or you can rent it off of Netflix or Blockbuster online. it’s just a DVD.

@MaximumRD oh. There are 2 versions as indicated by the closing factoid. They released a enhansed version. I got mine from blockbuster online. they has space ace, dragon’s lair and a few others. yeah, I’ll review them next but the graphic overlay did not record and I’m trying to get a clean recording. No video cam nonsense.
