So i’m trying to record this on my vhs in order to dub it to dvd and bring it to my computer to upload right? Well the vhs tracking is completely whacked, and i’m going crazy trying to fix it… right until Navi reminds me that my vcr/dvd player doesn’t just dub but can RECORD STRAIGHT TO DVD… So once i stopped feeling incredibly stupid i got it set back up and gave it a try and this was the result What i’m planning to do is go through all the missions i have access to in Free Play and hopefully upload them all here – maybe by doing it i’ll actually get a little better and be able to beat the mission i’m stuck on in the story, and eventually open the rest of the stages, but i’ll just have to see how it goes Stage Notes: This is the intro stage, and it’s really pretty hard to get anything other than an S ranking here (which i did thankfully, lol), i did take a little unnecessary fire there at the end when i was trying to be all “Rambo” and mow the enemies down with my shoulder gatling, but hey, those things happen

oh my god this game is impossible; my mech turns so slow that the enemy circles around me before i have the chance of even attacking it!
i was reading the tidbit on OMER, and they’re a bit ambiguous when they say “west asian…” i think they mean middle eastern, or specifically israel (omer or amar is a root which means to utter). i think they played on the fact that israel and south africa held a record of some sort concerning the development of nuclear weapons (america had help from european scientists, while israel/s. africa did it alone)

@Equirah i don’t know the most about ACFA but as far as i am aware, the 4th choice “Independent” is generally considered to be the hardest, so a lot of people start with that – however personally i would suggest going with either GA or Omer if you’re just starting on Armored Core games
Hiya, i just got this game and i was wondering if you could answer me this:
i know you have to play the game 5 times to clear all the missions and parts ect. (then complete all on hard)
What starting mech and “alliance” would you recommend for the first time trough?
I know this is kind of off topic but, I have played AC2 and Silent Line, loved both, and was wondering if this game is worth it, I mean Gameinformer didn’t rate it that well, but I loved AC4, is this game longer and has better fights?

there’s nothing wrong with that, blades are really good weapons and a lot of people like them – i just don’t heh
lol i only use laser blades for most missions.. but thats just me
i hope you’re enjoying it – if you mean the gatling gun it’s called a GAN01-SS-GC, it’s been a long time so i’m not sure how i unlocked it, it was either from doing the Collard Rank battles or possibly from beating Stage 36 – Defeat the Main ORCA Forces
the FCS i use is the Laura from Akvavit, and i have absolutely no idea how i got it sorry (though it was quite possibly the one i started the game with heh)

i don’t know if it’s exactly the same but it does look pretty similar huh? heh
actually your NEXT’s design is a lot closer to what i usually aim towards (incredibly light and fast), but they made the lasers too heavy for it to work out
You’re stuck on Occupation of Arteria Carpals? I posted a video reply of mine for you. Try to follow the “divide and conquer” strategy I use. It works for anybody, and doesn’t force you to change your setup. Good luck! =)
