it can also be cracked to play all regions. After decoding it, it will play whatever dvd from where ever. That’s the reason I got it. Great deal for 60-70 bucks. The only downside to this player is that it has no audio output for a surround system.

maybe it does NOT really upscale dvd,s
but to make it look like upscaled,it could just simply blurs the images down against blocky graphics and then rezise them into 1080p,
this way it saves alot of prosseccing power,enargy,temperatures and costs,
will the picture despites degration just looks impressive in fullhd.

This DVD player also plays back DIVX files from CD’s – DVD’s – and USB memory sticks.
