This is a great little device, and it does everything they claim. Plays every video format I have tried, and the video controls are good. HD quality is very sharp, and works well with older TVs as well. My only complaint is the remote is a little cheesy, and I would like to have a 12v adaptor for use in the car. Overall a great device for the price.

This Micca Slim does not shipped with any instruction of how to operate.

This Micca Slim has the HDMI connection, but does not work.

Poor video and video control.

I was looking for a small/portable media player that I could hook to the audio/video inputs of the entertainment system in our family’s minivan. The Micca Slim fit the bill perfectly. My only knock against it is that it doesn’t come with a car power adapter. I had to purchase a small power inverter to power it in the car. Other than that one very minor gripe, the unit is perfect for the family on the go. Very easy to operate with the remote it comes with – surprised by how responsive it was. Picture quality is pretty good – just be sure to use the HDMI port and set the unit for HD output if you hook it up that way. Normal composite mode works great in the car. Anyway, great value for the price. Slap a $50 laptop hard drive in it and you can take your media (movies, pictures, music) anywhere!

My friend has been using this product for quite a while and recommanded it to me. A little unhappy experience with DBROTH which is selling fake product (no brand name on the hdd player). I finally get the fake one returned and now purchased from Micca store directly.

The product itself is very impressive. It playback most popular formats of video, music and pictures. Video images are crystal and sharp on my 50″ LCD TV. It’s easy to setup and operate, all you need is a HDMI cable which you can purchase very cheap online. It’s compact size allow me to carry arround easily at home or traveling.

Very happy with it, worthy every penny I spent.
